Product Introduction

Sand production in oil and gas wells is one of the important problems faced by unconsolidated sandstone oil and gas reservoirs. The formation sand carried in the oil and gas flow can easily cause downhole sand stuck in mechanical production wells, causing frequent shut-in operations, affecting production and increasing costs. The latest high-sealing sand control device developed by our company adopts the latest domestic new sand filtering technology to perform graded filtering of sand particles. It has strong sand filtering properties, good permeability, and is not easy to block. It is an efficient anti-pump stuck tool for oil pumping wells.

Structure and Working Principle

The high-density sand control device consists of a primary filter body, a sand settling chamber and a secondary filter device.

When the high-density sand control device is working in the well, the mixed liquid in the oil well is first filtered through the liquid inlet hole of the metal shell. After entering the larger sand settling chamber, the liquid flow rate slows down. When the oil pump suction is stopped intermittently, the sand particles are in the Under the action of its own gravity, it falls downward, is discharged from the lower sand discharge port, and flows into the tail pipe. The remaining sand particles will enter the sand filtering chamber equipped with high-density sand control pipes along with the well fluid. The high-efficiency sand filtering layer composed of wire-wound tubes has a dense structure, good permeability, no scaling, no rust, good elasticity, and high temperature resistance. It has good sand filtering properties for fine sand and is not easy to block. It can effectively prevent formation sand and impurities. Enter the pump and oil pipe to avoid accidents such as sand jam, thereby ensuring the normal production of the oil well.

Use and Installation

  1. Installation requirements: The sinking degree of the oil pump is ≥100m.
  2. Installation method: The device is connected to 1 to 2 oil pipes under the oil pump, and the lower part is connected to the tail pipe. The length of the tail pipe should be greater than 50m (the length of the tail pipe of the oil well with the largest sand production volume should be greater than 100m).
