Series Feedback Pump

Product Introduction:

In order to pump higher viscosity crude oil from oil wells, our company has developed a special tubular pump – a series feedback pump. When the pump is used in oil wells with crude oil viscosity less than 4000mPa*s (50°C), it can be directly exploited. At the same time, when the viscosity of crude oil is high, measures such as removing rods and pipes, injecting steam, washing wells, or performing viscosity reduction treatments can be implemented, and oil can be automatically drained when starting the pump.

Structure and Working Principle:

The pump is mainly composed of an upper pump barrel, an upper plunger, a lower pump barrel, a lower plunger, a center pipe, an oil inlet and outlet valve, a sucker rod joint and a pump barrel joint. The upper and lower plungers are connected by the central pipe, the upper and lower pump barrels are connected by the pump barrel joint, and the oil inlet and outlet valves are installed in the plunger.

During the upstroke, the oil delivery valve closes, the crude oil in the oil pipe above the upper plunger is discharged, the volume of the annular cavity between the upper and lower plungers increases, forming a low-pressure cavity, the oil inlet valve opens, and the annular cavity is filled with oil: during the downstroke, The oil inlet valve is closed and bears the weight of the oil in the entire oil pipe string, helping the sucker rod to move downward. The volume of the annular cavity is reduced, forming a high-pressure cavity. The crude oil in the high-pressure annular cavity opens the oil outlet valve and enters the oil pipe.

The pump mainly relies on the sucker rod to drive the upper and lower plungers to move, causing the volume of the annular chamber to change to form low and high pressure chambers respectively, so that the inlet and outlet valves can be quickly opened or closed. During the downward stroke, the weight of the oil pipe liquid column rests on the oil inlet valve, forming a hydraulic feedback force that helps push the oil rod downward. This not only solves the problem of difficulty in moving the sucker rod downward in heavy oil wells, but also improves pump efficiency and overcomes the phenomenon of delayed closing of the ball valve.
